Servicing

Pricing varies for a basic service and usually includes labour, plus parts & consumables. Excluding sharpening. We also offer the First Service Free* with new purchases of Zero-turns and Ride-ons.

Blowers, Grass Trimmers & Brush cutters, Chainsaws, Hedge Trimmers etc.

Repairs - Minimum labour $16.50, $120 per hour at 15 mins intervals. (Excludes Sharpening.)

Lawn Mowers, Water Pumps, Generators etc.

Repairs - Minimum labour $16.50, $120 per hour at 15 mins intervals. 

Ride-ons, Zero-Turns and larger equipment.

Repairs - Minimum labour $16.50, $120 per hour at 15 mins intervals. 

Repairs and Sharpening

STIHL Master Technicians, Briggs and Stratton Service Centre | Sharpening Service.

Repairs on Handheld, Lawn Mowers and Ride-Ons

Upfront Quote Fee of $50 repairs. This is repairing something that isn't working already and requires time to diagnose and repair. Minimum labour $16.50, $120 per hour at 15 mins intervals.

Chainsaw Chain Sharpen - Standard 

Sharpening $20 per chain, off the saw. $23.50 per chain, on the saw. Tungsten chain sharpening, $30, $34.50 respectively.

Cylinder Mower Reels and Blades 

Cylinder Mower Sharpen, $3.85 per inch + replacement Bed Knife/Bar Blade if needed.

Please Note.

We cannot service, repair, sell or order parts for, John Deer, Honda, or Husqvarna. We are not a registered dealer for these brands. We can still get some parts or aftermarket accessories. These brands require a dealer agreement to supply and sell their products and spare parts. We also cannot service Ryobi, Ozito or any common/uncommon brand from Bunnings, unless it is either Toro, Victa, Masport or has a Briggs and Stratton engine, or is a brand we supply for the same reasons.  

However - We can usually service most other brands, such as including Shindaiwa, Echo, McCulloch, MTD, Rover etc. Give us a call to check with us if you're unsure. Delivery and pick up: $69 each way for Ride-on, Zero-Turns and large/awkward equipment.

 *Includes all brands. We assemble, test, and demonstrate all equipment to you.

Frequently asked questions

Here are some frequent questions about our company.

No, you shouldn't. 

The reason for this, blades can get damaged and chip over time, when sharpening you can create an in-balance and/or damage, fracture the metal. This can lead to severe vibrations and failure of the blades or mower while in use. 

Which is why all manufacturers will recommend replacing the parts that spin at very high RMP, with new parts that are correctly manufactured and suited to your machine.  

We can provide this service if the blades are off a very old, rare machine or unable to be replaced for one reason or another upon your agreement and signing a waiver. However for 99% of all cases you SHOULD replace your mower blades every time. 

Yes!

We provide sharpening services for anything that can be sharpened, including chainsaw chain, blades, knifes and cylinder mower reels. However, we will usually also replace the  “bed knife” or “bottom blade” in a cylinder mower. The fixed blade that works with the rotating cylinder to cut the grass.

As a Stihl Dealer, all Stihl products come pre-assembled, tested and run, then demonstrated to you upon delivery. This is a service offered by all Stihl dealers and is a requirement from Stihl. We also extend this service to all other brands we sell - So you know it correctly assembled and ready to use. 

(Some items, such as the Handheld, GTA 26, HSA 26 and ASA 26, will be sold in a box but be demonstrated to you using display stock, where possible | Pressure washers and Vacuums inc.) 

Yes, we require full payment to order something we don't normally stock. 

However, we cannot order parts or products from brand when we are not a dealer. We cannot order or generally, repair or service John Deer, Honda or Husqvarna, gravley, greenfield as we normally cannot order parts. 

We offer a 30-day return policy for all products. Items must be in their original condition, unused, and include the receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds MUST be refunded to the same card or payment method. E.g We cannot refund a Visa Gift Card to an EFTPOS card. (This is a requirement of the banking institutions). AfterPay or Zip, refunded respectively. Refunds are processed either upon return or within 5-7 business days.
